Jerome Jelinek
Chairman

 

Jerome was the founder of CSS in 1992, and served as its CEO and General Counsel until February 2024, when he transitioned into the role of Chairman.

Prior to founding CSS, Jerome was in private practice in the Detroit area, concentrating in real estate law and commercial litigation. He is a past-president of the Michigan Land Title Association. He has presented often on a variety of real estate topics to attorneys, realtors, lenders and title industry members. In addition to the MLTA, Jerome is a member of the American Land Title Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the State Bar of Florida. He received his B.A. from Hope College and his J.D. from Western Michigan University’s Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

As Chairman, Jerome assists with the strategic direction of the company, and leverages over 30 years of industry experience to lead revenue strategy and execution. He also continues to oversee the legal and regulatory functions of the company.

Jerome lives in Traverse City, Michigan, with his wife, Jill, where he remains active in the community and enjoys tennis, biking and boating in beautiful northwest Michigan.
